God of War 4 release date?

Now please hold your breath! It has been long rumoured that Santa Monica Studios much loved franchise about the fallen God of War, Kratos, is set to return in a fourth outing (remember the end of the third game’s credits?). Despite destroying the world and killing all of the Greek Gods no one really knows what will follow next for the series.
However after a string of rumours about the game coming out next year in 2012, and the job listings which clearly state a God of War project is in the works at Santa Monica it seems that a New Zealand based store ‘Mighty Ape’ has listed God of War 4 and its release date! Now this may of blown the game out of hiding or simply they have jumped the gun by listing the sequel to the franchise titled God of War 4 with a set release date of 28th September 2012.
As I have said its best to hold your breath on this one because until we get a press release from Sony or game play footage/screenshots I will wait for something more solid.
